A clash between two student groups at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, has left six students injured and hospitalized, while police have arrested 20 students in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the altercation occurred within the university premises on Monday, prompting authorities to intervene and restore order. The injured students were admitted to hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, university administration instructed all second- and third-year students to vacate the faculty premises immediately as a precautionary measure.
