The Lanka Premier League (LPL) has announced West Indies cricket legend Chris Gayle as the official Brand Ambassador for its upcoming sixth season, which is set to be played in 2026.
The exact dates for LPL 2026 have not yet been announced, but the tournament is expected to make a grand return after the 2025 edition was not held.
Gayle, known worldwide as the “Universe Boss,” is expected to bring his trademark charisma and global appeal to the league as it enters its biggest and most anticipated season yet.
Since its launch in 2020, the LPL has established itself as Sri Lanka’s premier T20 competition, featuring top international stars alongside rising local talent.
