Following the success of last year’s celebration, Shangri-La Colombo proudly announces the return of Flavours of Türkiye, a vibrant culinary and cultural showcase in collaboration with the Embassy of Türkiye. The promotion will take place from 1 to 9 November 2025 at Central Restaurant, bringing the rich flavours and soulful spirit of Türkiye back to Colombo.
This year’s experience promises to be even more indulgent, with four guest chefs from Türkiye — Ali Taşpınar, Caner Dolu, Ali Dönmez and Feyzullah Kalkan — joining hands with Shangri-La’s culinary team to present a curated selection of authentic Turkish dishes alongside the restaurant’s dinner buffet. Guests can look forward to succulent kebabs grilled to perfection, flaky börek layered with delicate pastry, creamy hummus and mezze platters, and the unmistakable sweetness of baklava drizzled with honey and pistachio.
Adding to the culinary journey, the evenings will be elevated by the soulful melodies of Pelin Demirçe Altıntaş, Yasin Bol and Meriç Düzbaş, whose live performances will transport diners to the vibrant streets of Istanbul and the warmth of Anatolia.

Flavours of Türkiye will be held from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. daily at Central Restaurant. Guests can look forward to an enchanting celebration of flavour, artistry and tradition.
