
Over Rs. 662,758,638.00 was officially handed over by the National Lotteries Board Chairman, M.D.C.A. Perera, to the Deputy Minister of Finance, Anil Jayantha Fernando, today (03).
In 2025, the National Lotteries Board recorded 38 grand prize winners and awarded Sri Lanka’s largest-ever lottery prize of Rs. 470 million through the Mega Power Lottery.
A portion of the daily lottery income is regularly allocated, both monthly and annually, to the Consolidated Fund, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, the Ranaviru Service Fund, the Social Services Fund, the Sports Fund, the Shrama Vasana Fund, and the National Kidney Fund.
In September 2025, Rs. 508 million from other lottery revenues was contributed to the Consolidated Fund.
In November 2025, Rs. 150 million in dividends from annual lottery profits was also transferred to the Consolidated Fund.
Additionally, Rs. 4.2 million from the Friday draw of the NLB Jaya Lottery in September 2025 was allocated to the National Kidney Fund.
