A Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) councillor was suddenly taken ill and hospitalised during the budget debate of the Soronathota Pradeshiya Sabha today.
At the first budget vote held on November 7, the National People’s Power (NPP) was defeated by three votes.
Accordingly, during today’s second budget vote debate, the SJB councillor experienced a sudden medical emergency and was admitted to the hospital. (Newswire)
