An arrest warrant has been issued against former minister Wimal Weerawansa.
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court issued the warrant due to his failure to appear in court in connection with a case.
The case pertains to the alleged misuse of 40 government vehicles provided to the National Freedom Front by the Presidential Secretariat, causing a loss of Rs. 9 million to the government. (Newswire)
