Data collection drive launched to restore disaster-affected Industries

The Ministry of Industry has initiated a mechanism to gather data concerning industries that have been affected by Cyclone Ditwah, to collect the necessary information required for the Rebuilding of those industries.

Issuing a statement, the ministry requested that industrialists whose businesses have been damaged provide the relevant information to the data system as quickly as possible.

Actionable Steps and Submission Details:

* Hotline: A special telephone number, 071-2666660, has been introduced for notifying the Ministry about affected industries.

* Online Submission: Information can be entered online via https://aid.floodsupport.org/business-impact or through www.industry.gov.lk

* Deadline: The collection of this data must be completed before 2:00 PM on December 16th 2025.

Following the collection of the information, the Ministry of Industries expects to provide the relevant assistance and coordination necessary to help rebuild the industries.

Industrialists seeking support can also obtain assistance from the Development Officer of the Ministry of Industry located at both the Divisional Secretariat and the District Secretariat. (Newswire)
