Sri Lankan senior actor Nihal Fernando passed away this morning while receiving treatment in hospital, family sources confirmed.
Fernando, who contributed to stage drama, television and cinema over many years, had been ill for the past few days.
His remains will be placed at The Last Honour funeral parlour in Rajagiriya from 7.00 PM today. The cremation will take place tomorrow, 05 December, at 5.30 PM at the Borella Cemetery – New Crematorium. (Newswire)
