LankaPay says that the payment and digital transaction services disrupted earlier today due to an unexpected power outage at its primary operating site have now been restored.
The outage had temporarily affected interbank ATM transactions, CEFTS fund transfers, LPOPP government payments, JustPay, LankaPay Cards, GovPay, LANKAQR systems, and the LankaSign Digital Certification Authority.
LankaPay confirmed that all systems are back online and functioning, adding that technical teams had worked to restore services as quickly as possible. The company apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers and stakeholders. (Newswire)
