Two suspects linked to the theft of two motorcycles have been arrested during a police operation conducted in the Weliweriya Police Division on Sunday (07).
Officers attached to the Negombo Division Crime Investigation Unit carried out a raid based on a tip-off and apprehended the suspects in the Seeduwa area.
The arrested individuals, aged 21 and 25, are residents of Thoduwawa and Weliweriya. The stolen motorcycles were recovered and taken into police custody.
The suspects have been handed over to the Seeduwa Police, who are conducting further investigations into the theft. (Newswire)
