A Disaster Information Centre was launched by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa this morning (10 Dec) at the Opposition Leader’s Office located in Colombo, to collect information from areas affected by adverse weather conditions.
According to the Opposition leader’s Office, the primary objective of the mission is to gather information from disaster-affected areas at the Grama Niladhari Division level.
Facilities have been provided for affected individuals to directly report their problems and needs to this information centre via telephone and WhatsApp.
