The Supplementary Estimate was presented to Parliament by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya this morning.
The Supplementary Estimate of Rs. 500 billion for the year 2026, aimed at restoring the livelihoods of those affected due to the sudden disaster situation, is to be referred to the Committee on Public Finance.
