Media reports say fraud complaints have been lodged with the Kollupitiya Police against the organisers of the postponed Ne-Yo concert in Colombo.
According to police, two complaints — including one from Cinnamon Grand Colombo over unpaid dues — have been recorded against the organisers, Brown Boy Presents. The complaints are to be referred to the Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau for further investigations.
The concert, scheduled for December 28 at the Sugathadasa Outdoor Stadium, was called off citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
Organisers have stated refunds would be processed, but no confirmed timeline has been announced. (Newswire)
