Saudi Company donates Tower Light Generators for cyclone recovery efforts in Sri Lanka

Saudi Energia Company has donated eight high-capacity tower light generators valued at USD 43,000 to support recovery operations and reconstruction efforts in areas affected by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka. 

The donation has been made in response to an initiative by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh, while the Embassy is making arrangements to dispatch the generators to Sri Lanka for use in ongoing relief work.

The Managing Director of Energia, Mahammed Mohin Shaikh, along with Energia officials and employees, participated in the handing-over ceremony held at the Energia Al Kharj Road facility in Riyadh.

Receiving the donation from the CEO of Energia, Hassen Shahid, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ameer Ajwad, expressed his sincere appreciation to Saudi Energia Company for its timely and meaningful contribution. 

The Ambassador highlighted that the support extended by Energia is an exemplary gesture, reflecting a strong spirit of solidarity and a great sense of corporate social responsibility beyond business interests. (Newswire)
