Dr. Mahinda Parakrama Disanayake has been appointed as Presidential Advisor on Maritime, Ports, and Supply Affairs, with immediate effect.
According to the President’s Office, he was appointed by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Constitution of Sri Lanka.
The letter of appointment was handed over to Dr. Mahinda Parakrama Disanayake by Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumaranayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (08 Jan).
Dr. Mahinda Parakrama Disanayake is a veteran with both local and international experience in the fields of maritime and supply affairs.
He has worked with several international organizations and institutions, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. (Newswire)
