New Chairman appointed for the National Youth Corps

Nalin Radampala has been appointed as the new Chairman of the National Youth Corps (NYC). 

Accordingly, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, handed over the appointment letter to Nalin Radampala on Tuesday (06 Jan).

​Following the acceptance of the appointment letter, Nalin Radampala officially assumed his duties as the new Chairman. 

Addressing the staff and officers of the National Youth Corps after assuming office, the new Chairman stated that he is committed to fulfilling the responsibility of empowering and building youth who are fit for the future.

Nalin Radampala is an experienced professional in the Education Administrative Service, having served as a Deputy Director of Education.

​The occasion was attended by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Dinindu Saman Hennayake, Director of the National Youth Corps, Gamini Wickramapala, Board Member of the National Youth Corps, Anjana Sampath Amarasinghe, and other directors of the National Youth Corps.
