Three people were reported dead, and eight have been injured in an accident in the Mundalama area this morning (12 Jan).
According to the Police, a van travelling from Puttalam to Colombo had collided head-on with a car plying in the opposite direction.
Among the four individuals travelling in the car, three have been reported dead, while the one injured person has been transferred to the Puttalam Hospital for further treatment.
From the nine individuals in the van, seven have been injured and admitted to the Puttalam Hospital.
