
The Colombo Stock Exchange has contributed Rs. 25 million to the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund.
The relevant cheque was handed over to the Secretary to the President, Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, by the Chairman of the Colombo Stock Exchange, Dimuthu Abeyesekera, the Chief Executive Officer, Rajeeva Bandaranaike, and the Senior Vice Chairman, Kusal Nissanka, at the Presidential Secretariat.
The government established the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund to build an organized and trustworthy process by bringing together the general public, the private sector and the international community onto a single platform to rebuild Sri Lanka following the devastation caused to the country by Cyclone Ditwah.
