The Parliamentary has decided to suspend Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary General of Parliament, G.K.A. Chaminda Kumara Kularatne, with immediate effect.
The suspension took effect from January 23, according to parliamentary sources, following issues raised in relation to his appointment.
Kularatne had assumed duties in the position with effect from September 15, 2023.
