
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa met with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bangalore on Tuesday.
Commenting on the meeting in a post on ‘X’, Rajapaksa described it as an honour to engage with one of India’s most senior and respected leaders.
The discussions focused on strengthening India–Sri Lanka bilateral relations, Karnataka’s development and social welfare initiatives, and exchanging insights on technology and IT.
Rajapaksa noted that best practices from Karnataka’s experience as India’s leading IT hub could help guide Sri Lanka’s own progress. (Newswire)
