Dollar rate steady across major banks today

The Sri Lankan Rupee has shown marginal depreciation against the US Dollar, while rates remain steady at most commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (29 Jan), compared to Wednesday.

At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have remain unchanged at 306.95 and 311.70, respectively. 

According to NDB Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 306.4 and Rs. 312.95 respectively.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased slightly from Rs. 306.23 to Rs. 306.14 while the selling rate has dropped slightly from Rs. 312.99 to Rs. 312.89.

At Commercial Bank too, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 304.36 and Rs. 312.75, respectively. 

According to Sampath Bank, the buying rate and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at 306.50, and Rs. 313 respectively. (Newswire)
