
Warm-up matches for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be played from February 2 to 6 across Sri Lanka and India, with teams using the fixtures to fine-tune squads ahead of the tournament opener on February 7.
The schedule includes high-profile clashes such as India against South Africa on February 4 in Navi Mumbai, while Pakistan will face Ireland in Colombo the same day. Afghanistan, West Indies, Australia and several associate nations will also take part in the pre-tournament fixtures.
Sri Lanka will feature in warm-up action through their development side, while venues in Colombo, Bengaluru, Chennai and Navi Mumbai will host practice matches.
Sri Lanka and England will not take part in official warm-up matches as the two sides are scheduled to play a bilateral series during the same period.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will run from February 7 to March 8, with 20 teams competing across India and Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
