Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) officers arrested two men and seized more than 5 kilograms of heroin during an early morning raid in Bentota.
Acting on a tip, PNB officials conducted the operation in the Bentota police area on Jan. 31. Authorities recovered 5 kilograms and 105 grams of heroin during the raid.
The suspects, aged 40 and 45, are residents of Bentota.
The Police Narcotics Bureau is continuing investigations into the source and intended distribution of the seized narcotics. (Newswire)
