A woman was killed and three others were injured after wild elephants entered Valaichchenai town in Batticaloa early this morning.
Police said two elephants moved into the town and nearby village areas around 6:00 a.m. today (13). A 68-year-old woman selling string hoppers was attacked and killed by one of the elephants. (Newswire)
