Dollar rate today : Rupee holds firm with marginal gains

The Sri Lankan Rupee has shown slight appreciation while largely holding steady against the US Dollar at most commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Feb 16), compared to Friday.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have remained unchanged at Rs. 306.45 and Rs. 311.20 respectively.

At NDB Bank too, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 306 and Rs. 312.5.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate dropping slightly from Rs. 305.79 to Rs. 305.74 while the selling rate remained unchanged at Rs. 312.48.

Meanwhile at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rate of the US dollar remained unchanged at Rs. 303.86 and Rs. 312.25 respectively.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remained unchanged at Rs. 306 and 312.50. (Newswire)
