The article, cited a December report by International Living listing cheapest places to retire in 2026.
The publication said the rankings are based on reviews of real-world monthly budgets and firsthand accounts from its global network of expatriates, offering detailed cost breakdowns to illustrate how far retirement savings can stretch.
