
The Sri Lankan Rupee has slightly depreciated against the US Dollar across most major commercial banks today (Feb 19) compared to Wednesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar increased slightly from Rs. 306.2 to Rs. 306.65 while the selling rate decreased from Rs. 312.7 to Rs. 311.40.
At NDB Bank too, the buying rate of the US dollar increased slightly from Rs. 306 to Rs. 306.1 while the selling rate also increased from Rs. 312.5 to Rs. 312.6.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate remaining unchanged at Rs. 305.84 while the selling rate increased from Rs. 312.37 to Rs. 312.58.
Meanwhile at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remained unchanged at Rs. 304.11 and Rs. 312.50 respectively.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar decreased from Rs. 306.25 to Rs. 306.1 while the selling rate increased from Rs. 312.50 to Rs. 312.6 (Newswire)
