Four suspects have been arrested in possession of ice and heroin with an estimated street value exceeding Rs. 50 million.
The arrests were made yesterday (27) during operations carried out in the Ahungalla and Ambalangoda areas in the Southern Province.
Authorities seized 13 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “ice,” and more than 14 kilograms of heroin from the suspects. Officers also recovered 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
The operation was conducted by officers attached to the Ahungalla Police Station. Further investigations are underway. (NewsWire)
