The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (05 March) compared to Wednesday, with the selling rate steady at Rs. 313.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 307.55 to Rs. 307.85 and from Rs. 312.30 to Rs. 312.60, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 306.90 to Rs. 307.25, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 313.40 to Rs. 313.75.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 306.58 to Rs. 306.93, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 313.34 to Rs. 313.70.
Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 304.86 to Rs. 305.35 and from Rs. 313.25 to Rs. 313.75, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying rate has increased from Rs. 306.75 to Rs. 307.50, and the selling rate from Rs. 313.25 to Rs. 314. (Newswire)
