Former Member of Parliament Sajin Vass Gunawardena has been taken into custody by officials of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, in connection with charges of illegally earning assets worth Rs. 243.8 million.
He was arrested this morning (09) when he arrived at the Bribery Commission to provide a statement.
