Digital adoption, FTAs key to export growth : CCC survey

Sri Lanka’s export sector showed resilience in 2025, with many firms reporting higher revenues despite cost pressures, logistics challenges, and regulatory hurdles, according to the latest Export Barometer Survey 2026 of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

The survey, which gathered insights from exporters across multiple industries, highlights market diversification as a key growth strategy. 

New international markets and Free Trade Agreements are seen as critical drivers for expanding opportunities.

It also underscores the rising importance of digital adoption, sustainability practices, and policy stability in strengthening competitiveness. 

The Survey underscores that these factors are essential for building long-term resilience and ensuring Sri Lanka’s position in global trade.
