The All Island Canteen and Restaurant Owners’ Association has announced an increase in the prices of food items from midnight today (11).
As such, the price of plain tea will be increased by Rs. 5, milk tea by Rs. 10, short eats by Rs. 10, and the price of a packet of rice and kottu by Rs. 25.
According to the Association, the price increase is due to the recent increase in gas prices. (Newswire)
