Sri Lankan authorities have issued a notice to the tourism industry assuring that tourists visiting the country will not face any issues related to fuel, with special arrangements made to support the sector.

The notice comes after Sri Lanka introduced the Fuel QR quota system for vehicles, taking into consideration potential fuel supply disruptions linked to the ongoing Middle East crisis.

Officials said dedicated fuel arrangements have been organised for tour operators and hotels to ensure that tourist travel and related activities continue without disruption.

Authorities said tourists can visit Sri Lanka and travel across the country without any inconvenience, with fuel access arranged for tourism-related transport services. (Newswire)
