The Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka has issued a statement addressing speculation over recent discussions on energy supplies.
Responding to reports about a meeting between Russian Ambassador L. Dzhagaryan and senior officials of Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy clarified that no financial or logistical matters were discussed during the talks.
The Embassy further said that it is actively working on these issues and will provide updates as progress is made. (Newswire)
