Iran has warned that public spaces such as parks, tourist sites and recreational areas around the world will not be safe for its enemies, in a statement reported by the Associated Press amid escalating tensions.

According to AP, Iranian military spokesman Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi said that “parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations… worldwide will not be safe” for those considered hostile to Iran.

Separately, international media reports said Iran has also vowed to hunt down US and Israeli officials globally, even outside active conflict zones, including while they are on personal travel.

The warning comes as the conflict involving Iran and its adversaries continues to intensify, raising concerns over potential attacks beyond the Middle East. (Newswire)
