Police have arrested three suspects in Kelaniya for allegedly engaging in a vehicle racket using forged documents.
According to the Police, the arrests were made last night (19) by officers of the Western Province Northern Crime Division, acting on intelligence received.
During the raid, police seized a car prepared with falsified documents along with 19 live rounds of ammunition used for M60‑type weapons.
The suspects, aged 26, 35, and 40, are residents of Nittambuwa, Raddawana, and Makola.
They remain in custody as further investigations are being conducted by the Western Province Northern Crime Division. (Newswire)
