U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to its lowest level since returning to the White House, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Tuesday.
The survey found that Trump’s approval rating fell to 36 percent, with rising fuel prices and widespread disapproval of the war launched against Iran cited as key factors behind the decline.
According to the poll, only 35 percent of respondents approved of the Iran strikes, while a majority expressed concern that the conflict could make the United States less safe.
The survey also indicated growing dissatisfaction over economic conditions, with many Americans expressing concern over the rising cost of living, partly driven by global energy disruptions linked to Middle East tensions. (Newswire)
