
Sri Lanka is expected to strengthen energy cooperation with Russia, with discussions underway on refined fuel supply during the visit of Russian Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin.
According to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Managing Director Mayura Neththikumarage, the visiting Russian Deputy Minister of Energy has agreed to supply refined fuel to Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is also scheduled to meet Deputy Minister Roman Marshavin this evening (26) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening collaboration between Sri Lanka and Russia, including potential partnerships in fuel supply, energy security and long-term cooperation. (Newswire)
