Iran launched a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and Qatar on Saturday, according to official statements from both countries.
The UAE Defence Ministry said at least 20 ballistic missiles and 37 drones were launched toward the country, with all threats successfully intercepted before reaching their targets. Authorities confirmed there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The latest strikes bring the total number of Iranian attacks on the UAE since the start of the US-Israel conflict with Iran to 398 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,872 drones, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Qatar also confirmed that it was targeted by numerous Iranian drones on Saturday. Qatar’s Defence Ministry said all drones were successfully intercepted and neutralised, with no damage reported. (Newswire)
