In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force, a fully equipped Information Technology (IT) computer centre was handed over to students of Dessford Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Nanu Oya, Nuwara Eliya on 28 March.
The project was carried out under the guidance of Air Force Commander Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, with the Sri Lanka Air Force Information Technology Division leading the initiative to provide students with a modern learning environment.
The newly established air-conditioned IT laboratory is equipped with 15 desktop computers, UPS systems and internet facilities, enabling students to access modern digital learning resources.
The project received support from the Alengko Foundation and members of the Sri Lankan community residing in Australia and Germany. Construction work was carried out under the leadership of the Sri Lanka Air Force Pidurutalagala Camp. (Newswire)
