Fuel can be obtained from fuel stations tomorrow (April 1) under QR quotas for both odd and even numbered vehicles, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) announced.
The CPC said the special arrangement has been introduced as March 31 and April 1 fall on consecutive odd-numbered dates, which would otherwise restrict fuel access for even-numbered vehicles.
Accordingly, vehicles with both odd and even registration numbers will be permitted to obtain fuel tomorrow under their respective QR quotas.
The CPC clarified that this arrangement is applicable only for April 1, and the usual odd-even system will resume thereafter. (Newswire)
