
The Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development has announced a new opportunity for both local and foreign investors, with 203 acres, 2 roods, and 25.5 perches of land currently vacant across several industrial zones in Sri Lanka.
According to the Industrial Development Division, these lands are spread across multiple provinces, offering diverse locations for industrial growth:
- Northern Province: Mannar (11 acres, 29.56 perches), Weli Oya (28 acres)
- North Central Province: Rambewa–Sandamalagama (16 acres), Nochchiyagama (50 acres)

- Sabaragamuwa Province: Nalanda Ellawala Phase 2 (3 acres, 35.5 perches)

- Central Province: Ulpane (35 perches), Matale Nalanda (1 rood)
- Uva Province: Uva Paranagama (1 acre, 2 roods, 36.3 perches), Buttala (4 acres, 4 roods, 71.4 perches)
- Southern Province: Karandeniya (5 acres, 3 roods, 38 perches), Udukawa (3 acres, 3 roods, 18 perches), Bata Atha (3 acres, 27.6 perches), Thihagoda (6.5 acres), Sooriyawewa (13 acres, 1 rood)
