Trump Threatens Iran, Says “Power Plant Day, Bridge Day” Coming Tuesday

US President Donald Trump has issued a strongly worded warning to Iran, threatening possible strikes on key infrastructure while urging Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!” in what appeared to be a direct warning of potential attacks on Iranian infrastructure.

The message, which included expletives, also urged Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil shipping route, as tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate.

The remarks come amid growing concerns over disruptions to global energy supplies, with the Strait of Hormuz handling a significant portion of the world’s oil shipments.

Trump has issued several warnings to Iran in recent days, including deadlines to reopen the Strait, while signalling that the United States may take further action if shipping through the waterway remains restricted.

Analysts say any escalation involving Iranian infrastructure could further heighten tensions in the Middle East and impact global oil markets.

There has been no immediate response from Iranian authorities following Trump’s latest post. (Newswire)
