Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Janaka Rajakaruna, says 12 shipments of refined fuel are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka during April.

He said that the country maintains sufficient fuel stocks without any shortages and that the ordered shipments will arrive according to schedule.

A 30,000 MT furnace oil shipment is expected to arrive on April 13th, he said.

Meanwhile, he stated that from midnight today (April 11) until April 18, fuel will be issued to petrol-powered vehicles without requiring a QR code.

He added that there will be no changes to the existing odd-even fuel distribution system. (Newswire)
