
Sri Lanka’s expressway network generated over Rs. 163 million in revenue between April 10 and April 12, according to the Road Development Authority.
Director General Anuradha Hettiarachchi said a total of 434,338 vehicles used the expressways during the three-day period.
On April 12 alone, revenue reached Rs. 45 million, the RDA said.
The authority also urged motorists to report any emergencies encountered on expressways to its 1969 hotline. (Newswire)
