The Gang Suppression Force Pre‑Deployment Training Course – Haiti concluded on April 10, the Sri Lanka Army announced.
According to the Army, the training course was conducted at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL).
This training prepares personnel for a UN-authorized 5,550-member, offensive-oriented security force designed to restore state authority and fight gangs in Haiti. (Newswire)
