Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm are likely in some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern provinces and in the Ampara and Kurunegala districts.
Showers may occur in the Batticaloa, Ampara and Hambantota districts in the morning.
