Police Media Spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Fredrick Wootler has departed for Lyon, France, this morning (26) to attend the First Global Conference for Public Communication organised by INTERPOL.
He is scheduled to deliver a special presentation on how the Sri Lanka Police managed public safety and welfare during recent disaster situations in Sri Lanka.
The conference will be held from 28 to 30 April 2026. Wootler becomes the first Sri Lankan Police Media Spokesperson invited to present at this international policing communication forum. (NewsWire)
