A 28-year-old man has been injured after being shot in the Gohagoda area in Katugasthota today (04).
According to the Police, the shooting had occurred around 2.30 am today.
The victim, a resident of Hanthana, has been admitted to the Kandy Hospital.
He has been identified as a Janitorial Supervisor at the Kandy National Hospital.
The Police said the cause of the shooting is yet to be ascertained, while the suspects are also yet to be identified.
The Katugasthota Police is conducting investigations into the shooting. (Newswire)
