The incident occurred after the flight, which had arrived from Hyderabad, landed and was stationed at the airport. According to airline officials, smoke was detected in the cabin after a passenger’s power bank malfunctioned, prompting crew to initiate emergency safety procedures.

Passengers were evacuated using emergency slides as a precaution, with airport emergency services responding immediately. All passengers were safely moved out of the aircraft.

There were no reports of serious injuries, although some passengers are said to have sustained minor injuries during the evacuation.
